Water Usage

More than two million tons of human waste are dumped daily into the worlds rivers, lakes, and streams. Within the next two decades water usage around the world is expected to rise by about 40 percent. General water usage increased six times over the past century. That amount is more than twice the rate at which the worlds population grew.

Saving Lives

According to thewaterproject.org more than 1 in 6 people in the world don't have access to safe drinking water. Also 1 out of every 4 deaths under the age of 5 worldwide is due to a water related disease. The water project is a humanitarian group that is dedicated to making sure that people get the safe drinking water that they deserve. If you join this group and donate only ten dollars you could provide that water to one person for a whole ten years.
